Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using taupi.dev ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Taupi provides tunneling software that creates public HTTPS URLs forwarding traffic to your local development server. The Service consists of the taupi.dev website, the Taupi CLI tool, and the relay infrastructure.

3. Accounts

You must create an account to use the Service. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and API keys. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Transmit unlawful, threatening, abusive, or otherwise objectionable content.
• Host or distribute malware, phishing pages, or other malicious software.
• Conduct denial-of-service attacks, port scanning, or unauthorized access attempts against third parties.
• Circumvent usage limits, rate limits, or access controls imposed by the Service.
• Resell, redistribute, or sublicense the Service without prior written consent.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms without notice.

5. Plans and Billing

The Service offers a free tier and paid plans. Paid subscriptions are billed in advance on a monthly or yearly basis through our payment processor. All fees are non-refundable except as required by law.

We may change pricing with 30 days notice. Existing subscriptions will be honored at the current rate until the end of the billing period.

6. Subdomains

Registered subdomains are assigned on a first-come, first-served basis. We reserve the right to reclaim subdomains that are inactive, infringe trademarks, or violate these terms. Subdomain registrations are locked for 60 days and cannot be deleted during the lock period.

7. Service Availability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service at any time.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, taupi.dev and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenue, whether incurred directly or indirectly, arising from your use of the Service.

9. Termination

You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Data associated with your account may be deleted after termination.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
